In 2003 the Laws against driving after drinking changed dramatically in Pennsylvania including increases in penalties, lowered Blood Alcohol Content, and fewer defenses. For those individuals who have had previous DUI offenses the penalties can be as high as 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for a single offense. Even with no prior offenses the penalties can be as high as a 12 month license suspension, 6 months in prison, and a $5,000 fine. If you have been arrested for DAI/ DUI/ DWI telephone my office and I will be happy to discuss the current law. No charge for the telephone call. John W.
