Once you've purchased your ad package, the next step is getting your ad info to us.
Set
up can be handled two ways.
The first way is to get the basic part of your ad set up on your own and
then email us the additional images, audio, video, etc. that you want placed
in your ad or in the other sections of our site(coupons, menus, etc.).
When setting up your own ad, you will be able to upload two images. One
is a logo or banner(up to 600 x 300 px and 300 kb) that will be shown at
the top of your ad and the other is an icon or avatar(up to 80 x 80 px and 300
kb) that will be displayed when we run our scrolling ads and in the general
category view of ad sections. These images should be in jpg or gif format.
Setting up your own account also gives you the freedom to change the basic
information of your ad as often as you wish.
Instructions to do this are:
- Register
for our Shop The Burgh site.
- After you have activated your account, simply add
your business to our Pittsburgh business directory.

The second way is to

info that you want posted(up to 10MB).
Your email should include:
- Categories/subcategories(up to 5) that your ad should be placed in. If you don't see your category listed, tell us and we'll create it.
- Text and layout for your business directory listing. If you have it in html code that would be great. Otherwise, we'll work with you to get it looking right.
- Any meta keywords for your ad. If you don't have any or don't know what we're talking about, we'll pick keywords based on your market and ad.
- Any other images, audio, or video that you want included.
- Don't forget to submit any menus, coupons, special offers, etc. so we can include those in the appropriate sections. We highly recommend providing some sort of special offer, even if it's only a free consultation or small discount.
- Any other special instructions or requests you may have.
And that's it. We will contact you as soon as we have your advertising in place for your review or if you need to reach us, visit our contact page.
If for some reason, you can't email the files to us, you can mail them to us at the address listed on our contact page or give us a call at the number listed there.
